Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center (NVJDC) Gift Card Drive and "Chopped" Event

CEO had its first holiday event with the honor of hosting a "Chopped" no-bake cooking competition at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center!! 

Kids had a wonderful time as they competed in three rounds of cooking competitions and presented their food designs to the judges for review.

In addition to the wonderful afternoon where the kids were absolutely joyful and excited to participate in the competition, enjoy the music, and sip hot chocolate from the hot cocoa station; thanks to the support of Delegate Alfonso Lopez, CEO was able to present the Center with gift cards that can be provided to the children when they leave the Center and return to their communities.  These gift cards buy clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and whatever else children may need as they transition back to their homes.
